I am delighted to forward you this attachment being the Preliminary entries for this years Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships for Senior, Junior and Youth to be held in Delhi from July 11th to 16th.

This is the largest preliminary entries ever received for a Commonwealth Championships.

With so many competitions throughout the year, I was just a little sceptical as to the number of countries and athletes we would receive. But I am absolutely delighted with the results. .

I must congratulate Bowen Stuart, the IT Manager of the Australian Weightlifting Federation for setting up a user friendly online site for the preliminary entries – for the first time for the Commonwealth Championships. It has taken the event to the next level This event is starting to become one of the leading tournaments of the year in the IWF Calendar

The date for the final entries which will also be done online will be May 10th.

Accommodation and travel forms will be sent to you shortly and these and these can then be returned to the Indian Organising Committee, no later than the 11th May.
